Pro-Link Honored with Green Award from the Ashkin Group
More than 150 staff, distributor-members, and suppliers of Pro-Link were on hand as the organization was honored with an award from The Ashkin Group.

The award recognizes Pro-Link's commitment to Green cleaning and helping to promote healthier, safer cleaning throughout the jansan industry.

Pro-Link is a nationwide, full-service janitorial supply organization based in Canton, Massachusetts.

Stephen P. Ashkin is president of The Ashkin Group, LLC, of Bloomington, Indiana, a leading authority and advocate on Green cleaning.

"Pro-Link is helping its members not only adopt Green cleaning systems but understand why Green cleaning is necessary and how it can benefit them and their customers," says Ashkin. "This award recognizes the company for the leadership role it is pursuing in the jansan industry."

New Growth--New Emphasis
Pro-Link, which was founded in 1984, has grown considerably in recent years to more than 70 members. The organization has also recently hired several new people to fill management positions to help address the company's growth.

Pro-Link managers attribute much of this growth to their long-term emphasis on new, more productive cleaning technologies, including Green cleaning.

"Working with The Ashkin Group has helped our organization emphasize the importance of cleaning and its impact on the health of our customers," says Mike Nelson, Pro-Link's Vice President of Marketing. "Encouraging the use of Green cleaning products is the right thing to do and helps keep our members at the forefront of changing industry technology."
